Brotherhood is not just a Bible word. Out of comradeship can come and will come the happy life for all. At 12, i moved to a black town
& immediately encountered genuine brotherhood. it came clear why so many people call black men brother. Bond of Brotherhood makes all
men one.Brotherhood ain't greedy. Fellowship with God means warfare with the world. Your friends' enemies become your enemies. Down
the road was Ga welterweight. Up the road was the projects. The only fight i got in where i knocked him out was a new 6' boy who didn't
know better. There is always a chance that he who sets himself up as his brother's keeper will end up by being his jail-keeper. Since
Justin got in so many fights, i jumped in & made myself part of them. Teachers were cool with it. Awkward. Speak not too well of one
who scarce will know himself transfigured in its roseate glow; Say kindly of him what is, chiefly, true, remembering always he belongs
to you; Deal with him as a truant, if you will, But claim him, keep him, call him brother still! As i was in a coma, who was around to
protect Justin? The brotherhood of men does not imply their equality. Families have their fools and their men of genius, their black
sheep and their saints, their worldly successes and their worldly failures. A man should treat his brothers lovingly and with justice,
according to the deserts of each. But the deserts of every brother are not the same. I talked smack in my cracktown. I think that was a
priviledge bc of my friends. We live in a world that has narrowed into a neighborhood before it has broadened into a brotherhood.
Living local to USA's most violent city is why i am so acquainted with fellowship. i had a man tell me Tampa Bay news is worse than
Atlanta news & he had NEVER seen an Atlanta paper: murder> murder> murder> murder> murder> murder> murder> murder> murder> murder>
murder> murder> murder> murder> The brotherhood of man is evoked by particular men according to their circumstances. But it seldom
extends to all men. In the name of our freedom and our brotherhood we are prepared to blow up the other half of mankind and to be
blown up in our turn. You may call for peace as loudly as you wish, but where there is no brotherhood there can in the end be no peace.
