thought i'd always be

I've written some poems but i won't count
All the words the growth the summary mount
Do your fear to overcome it that is what i learned
My biggest fear was girls their presence really burned
Turned them down at dances single i thought i'd always be
Afterall, Dad said you can't date pretty girls & drive junk like me
But i saw the back of your head i knew i knew i knew
That was where my life was going all i had to do
From all these poems i know you're knowing i know it's right
Our cruise ship will be cruising the States afar & alight
I'm a sweet drunk too ergo my knows is punched
Broken 4 times in all half those i was drunk
1 guy who punched me was totally a friends
100 pounds heavier he was drunk i was in
I was in swimming trunks by the motel pool
Senior trip for drunks i was a fool
Walked up & swung, fist in my nose
I landed on my back like 1 of the pros
My buds drug me to my bed justa giggling
I saw him again, he apologized, i guess i was wiggling
Wiggling like Elvis i was preached to by his preacher
He saw Elvis see a wiggling lady get the Holy Ghost & a lecture
I was an Apostolic like Elvis till God called me to UPCI
I like their creed better something i really like
Then i became Bible with my final move
I'm ready for another it will be me & you
i love you,
