There are two ways of spreading light: to be the candle or the mirror that reflects it. I have been darkness so many times & sunk in so much mire i had to pull out of. Energy i wouldn't have to use if i were never dark. Remember that wherever your heart is, there you will find your treasure. The Bible, which i read 22 times bc i'm carried away with its wisdom, says that. We should not judge people by their peak of excellence; but by the distance they have traveled from the point where they started. Just bc 1 starts out most compelling doesn't mean s'he will stay that way. i'm thinking of 1 right now. Just don't give up trying to do what you really want to do. Where there is love and inspiration, I don't think you can go wrong. My neighbor started working on go-carts & motorcycles 16/7 when we were in elementary school. In his teens, cars & trucks. In his 20s, he robbed a store. In jail, he started studying PCs. Take criticism seriously, but not personally. If there is truth or merit in the criticism, try to learn from it. Otherwise, let it roll right off you. I was too sensitive in school to do men any good. You can waste your lives drawing lines. Or you can live your life crossing them. Remember, the leap is not about getting from one side to the other. It's simply about taking the leap...and trusting the air, the universal breath, will support your wings so that you may sour.

I was flying a toy airplane
